The scheduling handbook (PDF below) is designed to make your enrollment at Foothill as smooth as possible. The handbook has been created as a guide for students and parents to make appropriate course selections to provide for a successful high school experience and high-quality preparation for career and future. Families should read the handbook together and carefully make selections that meet each student's individual needs.
 
Be sure to check the following before making your final course selections:
  • High school graduation requirements
  • College entrance requirements -- or --
  • Special post-high school training program requirements in your area of interest
  • Course prerequisites and recommendations
  • Meet with your counselor
 
Foothill offers a wide array of academic and co-curricular experiences to meet the needs of our students. Our college preparatory program meets the entrance requirements of the University of California and California State University systems, plus all major universities and military academies in the United States. Our career education program prepares students for the world of work and for additional post-high school training. We offer advanced placement programs in nearly 30 courses, an internationally recognized marching band, technology courses, provisions for limited English students and services for students with special needs. We sincerely hope that you will take advantage of all the opportunities at Foothill to meet your interests, goals and aspirations to make your high school years both meaningful and enjoyable.

Step 1: Register for first choices on Q Connection (if requesting 7 classes, be sure requesting an eligible course)
Step 2: Complete Alternates Google Form for grade student is entering (see below)(must be completed in one setting and can only be submitted ONCE with student PUSD email)

Scheduling Information & Events for 2020-21 Registration

  • Incoming Freshmen Scheduling Night will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd.
  • Rising 10th, 11th, and 12th Scheduling Night will be held on Thursday, January 30th.
  • Incoming Freshmen Scheduling MAKE-UP SESSIONS will be held on Wednesday, February 5th at 8 a.m. at Foothill High School.
  • Flex scheduling question support available on Feb 4th, 6th, 11th and 13th.  MUST SIGN-UP!
  • Online scheduling registration for 2020-21 school year is open between Saturday, February 1st to Saturday, February 15th.

Incoming Freshmen (Current 8th Graders) Scheduling Resources:
 
Current PUSD 8th graders will receive scheduling information via student PUSD email in mid-January. Incoming Freshman Scheduling Night will be held on Wednesday, 1/22/20
