Update: Library Book Curbside Pickup Service
As the loop will be closed due to construction, the new book pick up and drop off area will be between B-10 and B-9 starting 11/11/2020. Students/families can pull into and park in the staff parking lot for curbside pickup. At this time, book pick up and drop off times will be weekdays from 8:15 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Please continue to use the Google Form for book requests and wait for an email confirmation/notification before picking up requested books. 
Ghouls Night 2020
Mrs. Eteve, Donlon's librarian, is looking for high school student volunteers to record themselves reading Halloween children's books for elementary students. This is a great opportunity to earn service hours while getting in the Halloween spirit and having fun!

Library Online Book Club

The FHS Library is now hosting an online book club! We can read and discuss books together, and then you will have the opportunity to meet and speak with the authors via Zoom! If you are interested, please complete this interest form.

Library Book Curbside Pickup Service


The FHS Library is now offering a curbside pick up service! Please see the flyer above, which provides you with basic information about the curbside pick up service. The flyer includes links to a video about how to find library books and confirm their availability using Destiny, our online catalog, and a Google Form, through which you can request library books, renew library books, recommend books for the library to purchase, and request books for your English class in the event you missed the designated pickup day (please take care to make the correct selection on the form). Once you have confirmed via Destiny that the library has an available copy of a book you would like to check out, please complete and submit the Google Form; we will then notify you via email as to when the book is ready for pick up off of the senior parking lot (close to the Multipurpose Room doors/H building). Pick up times are Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; if that window of time doesn't work for you, please send an email to lmcneil@pleasantonusd.net. Your name will be on a post-it sticking up from the book; please be sure to pick up the book that has been checked out to you and not another student's book. If you do not pick up your book within a week, it will be checked back in and re-shelved. Library books are to be renewed or returned every two weeks to the book carts off of the senior parking lot (close to the Multipurpose Room doors/H building). Please wear a mask when picking up and returning the books and keep at least six feet of distance between yourself and others. Happy reading!

2019 Semester 1 Finals Library Hours


During finals week, the library will close at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, 12:45 p.m. on Thursday, and 12:15 on Friday. The library will open at 7:30 a.m. each day.

Return Overdue Library Books!


It's time to check cluttered backpacks and messy bedrooms for any books that belong to the Foothill Library. ALL books and materials must be returned to the library no later than Friday, May 17, 2018.


If you have lost a library book, please check in with the library staff to see how much is owed to clear any debt. If your book is just really overdue, please bring it back. Foothill Library does not charge any late fines.


Diplomas and next year's class schedules will be held if library materials are not returned and debts are not paid.
