UPDATE : October 28, 2021

Welcome to the 2021/2022 Girls Lacrosse News Feed

If you are interested in participating in girls lacrosse this season please fill out the Tryout Questionnaire and complete the athletic clearance. Athletes will not be allowed to participate in tryouts/practice or games until they are cleared! Please have all athletic clearance paperwork turned in no later than January 24, 2022.

**Preseason Meeting** There will be a preseason meeting on February 1, 2022. Time and location to be determined closer to the date.

Athlete Clearance Process:

Students are required to have an up- to-date sports physical to be cleared for participation in athletics. In order to ensure this, please complete the following Athletic Clearance Process detailed on the website ASAP. The entire clearance process is completely digital. Please submit everything online and refer to the Foothill website for more information.

2022 Fair Share Cost

Foothill High School receives ZERO dollars from the school district or state to run our athletic programs.  It is up to each program to pay it's own costs via parent contribution. The cost for the 2022 season is $360.  This fee covers the essential costs of coaches stipends and referee/field fees.

You can pay the fair share in two ways:

  1. Bring a check to lacrosse practice and hand to coaches. Checks must be made out to Foothill High School, noting 'Girls Lacrosse Fair Share' in the memo field. I can also collect checks at games.
  2. Pay via credit card on the athletic clearance site. Log in and navigate to 'shop' tab. Find 'girls lacrosse' and enter $360 as your payment amount (note - it will add a credit card convenience fee).

Transportation and Volunteer Forms

We try to utilize carpooling for games as much as possible. Parents and guardians volunteering to transport students for sports events must complete the following:

  1. Transportation Form  (attach a copy of auto insurance declaration). Please drop off transportation forms at the FHS office window.
  2. Volunteer Clearance  (online submission)

Students driving themselves to/from sports events must fill out the Student Transportation Form  and attach a copy of their auto insurance. Please drop off at the FHS office window. Students may not drive other students.

**These forms take approximately 4 weeks to clear, please submit ASAP**

Finally, get a FasTrak Flex toll tag for carpooling lanes.
