Welcome to the 2022 Foothill Girls Water Polo Team

We are excited for the season - it's going to be a lot of fun.

Practice / Tryouts begin 8/8 Monday (more info will be sent via Team Snap - Please email Terresa to be added to Team Snap)

The first day of tryouts / practice is Monday August 8th. 5pm

Tryouts / Practice will be everyday as follows:

August 8th Monday 5:00 - 7:00pm

August 9th Tuesday 5:00 - 7:00 pm

August 10th Wednesday 5:00 - 7:00 pm

August 11th Thursday 5:00-7:00pm

August 12th Friday (Yes we will have practice on Fridays) 3:45 - 5:00

To attend tryouts / practice you must be cleared to participate.

Important Info - PLEASE READ:

1) FHS Athletic Clearance must be completed BEFORE you can try out

Your athlete must be cleared before 8/8/2022

Athlete Clearance will be entirely digital this year. Online Digital Clearance Instructions can be found here

Parents must register their student-athlete online through AthleticClearance.com before a

student can try out, practice or play for a sport. Please be complete when you register as

you will be cleared or not cleared according to the information you provided.

A current physical must be uploaded. Your athlete's physical is only good for one year from the

date of the exam. (Remember – each physical form needs to be signed and stamped by your

physician to be deemed valid. Also, if the physical will expire during the athlete's season, please

make an appointment for a new physical exam so your athlete does not miss any practice or

playing time).

Once cleared, the online program will send them a confirmation indicating their athlete is eligible

for tryouts/practice.

2) Driver's Clearance (This is Crucial): Transportation to Away games in the past have relied on PUSD-cleared parent drivers (i.e. no team buses).

Volunteer and Transportation Clearance

We will need parents cleared (both volunteer and transportation form) to drive to games (most are away games this year - just how EBAL schedules things). It takes a while to be cleared, so please complete now even if you aren't sure you will be able to drive.

Tri Valley Invitational Tournament - October 14th &15th (Varsity Tournament)

Please note: Tuesday games, scrimmages and other tournaments will be added to Team Snap schedule

There will also be one more weekend tournament added for both Varsity and Junior Varsity

COMMUNICATION INFORMATION:

The water polo team uses Team Snap for all its communications. If you are not receiving team emails please contact Terresa Williams ([email protected])- and give your daughter’s name, grade, email plus parent's names and emails. You will receive an invitation to join the group- PLEASE accept the invite to start receiving emails. It is also helpful to download the Team Snap app on your phone so you have easy access to all the team information.
