State Tests Continue April 28 & 29

Altered School Schedule
 
Foothill students will take the California Standards Tests April 21 through April 29. Students should report to their third-period classrooms for testing, unless they’ve been told to go to another site. 
 
Seniors do not take state tests. Look below for the times they should arrive at school on test days.
 
Please note that the bell schedule will be changed on test dates.
 
Tuesday, April 21
Students in grades 9, 10 and 11 take tests this day.
 
Wednesday, April 22
9th-grade students do not have testing this day. They should report to school at 10:12 a.m.
 
There will be no late-day schedule. Students in grades 10 & 11 should report to school at 8:12 a.m. for testing.
 
As usual, no A periods on Wednesday.
 
Thursday, April 23
Only 10th-grade students should report to school at 8:12 a.m. for testing.
 
Students in grades 9, 11 and 12 should report to school at 10:12 a.m.
 
Tuesday, April 28
Most students in grades 9, 10 and 11 will test. Please see note below regarding special situations.
 
Wednesday, April 29
Many students in grades 9, 10 and 11 will test. Please see note below regarding special situations.
 
A & B Periods
Students with A-period classes should report to these classes on days when they have tests.
 
Students do not report to A periods on days they do not have state tests. Thus, seniors will not attend A periods on any test days. Freshmen will not attend A periods on Wednesday, April 22 and so on.
 
B-period classes will be held every day at the regular time during testing.
 
IMPORTANT: Special Situations
* Junior College Classes: Students who took a class last summer -- for example, U.S. history or chemistry -- at a junior college or other institution will take the test for that subject during testing week, even if they are not currently enrolled in that subject.
* Math: Students who took Algebra II or Math IV last school year and are not taking any math courses this year must still take a math test.
* Students who are not currently enrolled in science or did not take a junior college summer science course do not need to report for science testing on Wednesday, April 29.
Seniors Only
Tuesday, April 21 & Tuesday, April 28 -- Seniors should report to school at 10:42 a.m.
 
Wednesday, April 22, Thursday, April 23 & Wednesday, April 29 -- Seniors should report to school at 10:12 a.m.
 
Make-Up Exams
Make-up tests will be given on Thursday, April 30 and Friday, May 1 in the multipurpose room. Students who miss any tests should report to the MPR at the start of first period on April 30.
 
 
2009 Testing & Bell Schedules
 
After testing is done each day, students will have a shortened bell schedule for the remainder of the day.
 
Students should report to periods 1, 3 and 5 on Tuesday, April 21; Thursday, April 23 and Wednesday, April 29.
 
Students should report to periods 2, 4 and 6 on Wednesday, April 22 and Tuesday, April 28.
 
Seniors should report to school after testing each day before classes start at 10:12 a.m. or 10:42 a.m. (See schedule below.)
