Foothill Grad Killed in Line of Duty

The entire Foothill community extends condolences to the friends, family and co-workers of Sgt. Mark Dunakin, an Oakland police officer killed Saturday in the line of duty.
Dunakin, 40, graduated from Foothill in 1987 and joined the Oakland Police Department in 1991. He lived in Tracy with his wife and three children.
