DECA Students Excel at Conference

More than 30 Foothill students walked away with awards at DECA's Northern California District Career Development Conference that was held Jan. 9-11 in San Ramon.

About 750 high school students from across Northern California competed in 36 different events and categories, ranging from retail merchandising to sports and entertainment marketing.

The competition was intense, so it was particularly gratifying that so many Foothill students were recognized for their outstanding work.

DECA is an international association of high school and college students studying marketing, management and entrepreneurship in business, finance, hospitality and marketing sales and service.
