September Student of the Month

Congratulations to senior Kiyan Rajabi for being named Foothill’s September Student of the Month.

“Kiyan is a well-spoken young man committed to serving the students, staff and the greater Foothill High School community,” leadership teacher Scott Sears said. “Kiyan leads with enthusiasm and dedication. He represents the students of Foothill High School well.”

Kiyan serves as president of Foothill’s Associated Student Body. He is a student dedicated to the best interests of Foothill and its students.

Holding student office is not new for Kiyan. He was sophomore class treasurer and student body treasurer. He’s been a member of the Global Citizen Corps and is an intern for a political group that enhances voter awareness among local youths.

Kiyan has always valued working with and gaining input from classmates.

“Kiyan is a selfless leader who works hard to understand the viewpoints of his peers,” Vice Principal Adam Jennings said. “He is a compassionate young man with a great deal of integrity.”

After high school, Kiyan plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree from a University of California school, and then follow with a master’s degree.

Congratulations, Kiyan!
