Congratulations to senior Jillian Anderson for being Foothill’s April Student of the Month.
“Jill is just an amazing person,” world language teacher Cindy Jackson said. “She is reserved, but one of the strongest, most positive students I know.”
It’s exactly those types of qualities that helped earn Jillian the student-of-the-month honor.
“Jillian is one who immediately uses what she has learned and is a super role model,” Jackson, who has taught Anderson for four years in German, added.
It’s hardly just Jackson who has high praise for Jillian, a member of the German club, as well as the California Scholarship Federation. Jillian also volunteers for the Special Olympics and put in regular time at the
“I am privileged to have Jill as a student in my child and growth development class,” teacher Barbara Correia said. “Although I have known her for just a few months, she has quickly made a positive impression on me. Jill is sharp, articulate and motivated, as well as a lady of character.”
Jillian plans to attend either UC Davis or Berkeley next year to study nutrition in hopes of becoming a registered dietician.
“Jillian is a positive person, hard-working, conscientious, helpful, kind, polite and responsible,” teacher Steven Lewin said.
