Foothill Band Review

The crisp, cool air can mean only one thing -- it's time for the 41st annual Foothill Band Review on Saturday, Oct. 24.

The day starts at 8 a.m. with dozens of bands marching down Pleasanton's Main Street. The parade competition ends at noon with awards given at the Foothill stadium at 1:30 p.m. Concert competitions are held throughout the morning at Amador Valley High from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The spectacular field show competition starts at 3 p.m. at the Foothill stadium with awards immediately after the show around 9:30 p.m.

This is one of the largest and most prestigious reviews on the West Coast. The music and marching are dazzling. Our wonderful parents volunteer many hours to make this event a success. You won't want to miss it.

The parade and concerts are free. Admission to the field show is $10.

Students: Get Community Service Hours
The Foothill Band Review has plenty of opportunities for seniors to rack up the community service hours they need for graduation.

There are plenty of jobs to go around -- sales positions, snack bar, parking, general help and much, much more. Shifts range from 2 hours to 5 hours or more. Work more than one shift to get lots of hours.
