Senior Jasper Edwards was honored with an Integrity Award for his extensive work with Foothill's peer advocates program. Jasper was recognized at the Sept. 24 school board meeting.

Peer advocates trains students to mediate conflicts and provide peer counseling. Students give presentations about bullying and judgment at Foothill and local middle school. The group also has a buddy program that helps match new students with friends on campus. Peer advocates are essential to student-to-student and student-to-staff relationships on campus. Students involved in the group help organize events and take action to create a positive atmosphere on campus.

Senior Chanel Vismara and Foothill graduate Brianna Grabowski were featured in the Tri-Valley Times for being the young directors of the San Ramon Community Theater's production of Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Click here to read the story on the newspaper's website.

Congratulations to both students for their outstanding achievements.
