PSAT Information for Juniors and Sophomores

Please note that many colleges are no longer considering the SAT as part of their admissions criteria - you can read more about this at fairtest.org.  Also, if you are going to be attending a community college after high school, there is no need to take the PSAT.  The PSAT is simply a practice test for the SAT, and a qualifier for the National Merit process. The SAT is used by some colleges for admissions purposes, but not by community colleges for admissions and typically not in the transfer process if you spend two years at community college.  If you have any questions, please email our PSAT coordinator, Jennifer Friesen, at [email protected].
