Foothill Character Honorees

Three Foothill students have been honored with Face of Character award for their outstanding character traits.

Brian Ingebretsen, Jason Menger and Nikki Proctor were honored by Foothill's character team, comprised of staff, parents and students.

The awards are given to students who display the outstanding character traits touted at Foothill and in our community -- compassion, honesty, responsibility, respect, integrity and self-discipline.

Brian, nominated by teacher Heather Fleming, found $20 on campus and turned it in. Jason, nominated by teacher Linda Gullick, takes duplicate notes in health class for a student learning the English language. Nikki, nominated by teacher Gail Myers, was recognized for being a special ed tutor, mentor and loyal friend.

Students, teachers and staff can be nominated by teachers, staff, parents and peers. The school's character team reviews nominations and selects honorees on a monthly basis. Nomination forms are available in the front office or by clicking here for an online form.

Face of Character honorees are recognized with a certificate, an In-n-Out Burger gift card and a bag of candy.

Congratulations to these students for exemplifying positive character traits!
