3/13/20 Update from Emergency Board Meeting

Dear Students, Parents, and Staff:
During today's Emergency Meeting of the Board of Trustees, the decision was made to approve staff's recommendation to dismiss school as of Tuesday, March 17, 2020 and move toward a remote learning plan to support student learning from home.
An overview of the district's educational plan for the next few weeks is outlined below:
Monday, March 16: Students may report to school to receive in-class instruction and information about remote learning.
Tuesday, March 17 - Friday, March 20: School will be dismissed while teachers receive professional development related to remote instruction.
Monday, March 23: Remote learning will begin and continue until Spring Break, which is as originally scheduled from Monday, April 6 through Friday, April 10.
A continuing education plan will be shared soon. Please watch your email for an additional communication with more details. Information will also be posted on the Pleasanton Unified School District website.
