Join Best Buddies Club

Come hear how you can be part of Foothill's Best Buddies club at an informational meeting during lunch on Thursday, Sept. 17 in room A-14.

The mission of Best Buddies is to enhance the lives of people with mental disabilities by providing chances for one-to-one friendships and integrated employment. The nonprofit group was founded in 1989 by Anthony Kennedy Shriver, of the same family that started Special Olympics. The program started at one school and has grown to have an international reach at middle schools, high schools, college, citizens, e-Buddies and jobs.

Foothill's Best Buddies chapter has been recognized as one of the best in the nation.
