Youth in Government Day

March 27th.... Are you interested in local government? Do you want to spend a day shadowing government officials? The City of Pleasanton and PUSD invites all Pleasanton high school students to Youth in Government Day. Applications due February 27th. Apply on the link.

Teen Job and Career Fair

Saturday, March 3rd, 1:00 - 4:00 pm, at the Pleasanton Senior Center. Admission is free to all teen job seekers and lunch will be provided. This great event gives teens ages 14 through 19 the opportunity to meet with over 30 local employers, pick up applications, and apply for jobs. The event will also feature mock interviews, resume and interviewing workshops, and career panels. Volunteer opportunities are also available for those students not ready for employment.

Spring Musical: Thoroughly Modern Millie

Come enjoy Foothill's Spring Musical: 'Thoroughly Modern Millie'. It is a collaboration between Amador and Foothill High students. Showtimes are March 9 - 10, and 16 - 17 @ 7:30 PM, and March 11 and 18 @ 2:00 PM. All shows are in the Amador Theater at Amador Valley High School. Follow the link above to buy tickets.

ACE Code Day 2018

Saturday, March 17th, from 2:00-7:30 PM at Amador Valley High School. ACE Code Day is a fun, educational event that allows middle and high school students to further their knowledge of programming, computers, and the tech industry. Come attend workshops to learn about a variety of topics including, but not limited to, computer programming in Java, web design, and app development in a fun and interactive environment with your friends. Dinner and snacks will be provided as well!

Foothill AP Testing Registration

The registration period for AP Exams is January 22, 2018, until­ February 24, 2018. February 24, 2018, is the last day to sign up. Late registrations will be accepted until March 6, 2018, with a $15 late fee per AP exam. Follow the link for more information.

PPIE Run for Education

Join us for the 6th annual Run for Education on April 15, 2018. The Principal's Challenge is up and running! The current leaders are Lydiksen, Hart and Amador/Foothill for a tie. The winning school gets to proudly showcase a plaque and earns bragging rights for the following year. Go Falcons!

Parking Lot Safety

Parents, please do not use the staff parking lot (north end of campus controlled by gate/code) for access to the campus. For safety reasons, only staff are allowed access to this parking lot. There should be no drop off or pick up of students in this lot. Do not wait at the gate for someone to open it and then enter. We appreciate your cooperation.

Register to Vote!

Make your opinion count. California now allows 16- and 17- year old teens to pre-register to vote. Your registration will automatically become active once you turn 18. Clink the link to pre-register or register, now.

If you did not turn in your text books after the 1st semester you will not be able to buy a prom or ball ticket or walk at graduation. Turn in your textbooks to the Activities Desk ASAP or bring a check to pay for the lost book.

Congratulations DECA!

Students from FHS competed at the DECA Northern California Career Development Conference in San Ramon, from January 12-14, and earned 157- awards collectively! There were a total of 15 overall 1st - 3rd place winners (which included presentations, a test and/or a written report combined).
