Attendance Numbers
- If your child is going to be coming in late or needs to leave early, please call Attendance Office Telephone (7:30- 4:00) 461-6688
- If your child is going to be absent an entire day, please call the Attendance Recorder (available 24 hr) 461-6686
- Please call the day of the absence if possible, no absences will be cleared after 72 hours.

You must fill out a "Pre-Approval Absence Form" and have your teachers sign you can pick up the form Attendance Office, please remember this is the only Approved Absent from school for College visits. You can download the form by click here.
- Foothill High School is a closed campus. Students may not leave campus without checking out.
- If your student needs to leave school during the day please call the Attendance Office at: 461-6688 before the time your student needs to leave campus.
- A pass will be written and ready for your student to pick up in the office prior to leaving.
- If your student becomes ill during the day, he/she needs to check out through the Health Office.
Failure to check out of the office prior to leaving the campus FOR ANY REASON will result in a Saturday School. - Schools no longer are reimbursed by the state for ANY absences.
- Parents are requested to encourage students to attend school punctually everyday unless they are truly ill, and to schedule vacations during student
non-attendance days. - Students must attend school a minimum of 4 periods to be eligible for participation in any school-sponsored activity for that day.
