Foothill High School

Two FHS water polo players were recently announced as All-America athletes for the 2015-2106 school year

Joseph Schafer was clearly a standout in our league and section.  Joe was voted First Team All-League, and Second Team All-Section as a dominant MVP of our Foothill High School water polo team, after both his junior and senior seasons.  Joseph also tied for second in league MVP voting in his senior year, an endorsement by opposing coaches.  This second All-America honor is a great cap to his high school playing career.  Joseph is currently playing at Pomona-Pitzer in Claremont, California.  Congratulations Joe!

Dominic Scalise stepped up his play in his senior year, earning Second Team All-League, for which only six players are chosen.  Dominic was also second in EBAL assists and scored 41 goals.  His best game was his final game of the league schedule against rival Amador Valley.  Dominic scored 5 goals in that game to lead us to a win against our rivals for the first time in several years.  This All-America honor is a testament to his perseverance in his sport.  Dominic is currently attending Baylor University in Waco, Texas.  Congratulations Dominic!
